Learn 2 Ski or Wakeboard for $20

Our Learn2Ski and Learn2Wakeboard events always fill up fast...
Our June, July and August session were FULL again,
So don't delay.. sign up now to be notified about 2009 dates!
You will receive an e-mail when the 2009 dates are set.
Walk-ups can not be allowed for these events, because students
homework must be completed prior to each session.
Students are tested on their assignments! :)
We pull aprox adtl 10 students from our waitlist for these events.
(Final student counts are determined by volunteers and
their boats being available the week of the event.)

Learn2Ski/Wakeboard $20 minimum donation includes:
A one day individual USA Water Ski &
Lake Norman Ski Club individual one day membership!

Students must arrive for their Learn2Ski/Wakeboard event no later than 8:15AM
(Instruction will start @ 8:30am
on Vinnie's Shore
...and the event will end at aprox 11:30am)
Bring your own life jacket and equipment if available (we will supply them if needed).
On-line registration closes when the event is full or Thursday the week of the event.
Registration is first come first serve, with all on-line entry forms time stamped.
Please be on time so our Water Ski Instructors can start promptly at 8:30AM!!!
Your slot will be reassigned at 8:20AM to waiting list Students.. so don't be
late!
(Learn 2 Ski event donation includes a
USA Water Ski one day membership!)
All Skiers MUST have a signed Lake Norman Ski Club
waiver/release
form on file and sign a USA Water Ski waiver on the day of the event.
Please
PRINT and sign the
waiver/release
forms and bring them with you.
(You can not participate without the signed Lake Norman Ski Club
and USA Water Ski
waivers on file.)
Check the Ski Club Message Board for changes due to weather and don't forget,
EVERYONE must donate (minimum $20 CASH donation) and bring your towel!!!!!

As a Student, I hereby agree to arrive at the event by 8:15AM
I understand that I must donate with cash and be signed in for class by 8:20AM to receive
training required to allow me to get out on the water and
no exceptions will be made if I am late. NO EXCEPTIONS! This is due to club and USA Water Ski insurance rules that you can't miss any of the in class instruction and be allowed to continue to on-water instruction.
I promise to do my home-work that I will receive for any event
(you will be linked to your homework assignment after you complete your registration).
If I am under 18, my parents will remain on-site in case
of an emergency or if my session ends early for any reason.
I will uphold any & all rules and/or regulations set forth
by the By-laws of the Lake Norman Ski Club and I also
understand that failure to follow instructions or club rules
will result in forfeit of any privilege to participate in this event.
I understand I will be contacted via e-mail once my name is assigned to the class roster and this is just the online sign-up process.
I will remember to only bring cash for my donation because checks are not accepted. No exceptions will be made for members or non-members.
